Although I rely heavily on the computer to create much of my work, I find it rewarding to work in a medium that is divorced from technology. I am continually scrounging for found wood, usually roots or driftwood, and enjoy the meditative process of slowly turning this natural material into sculpture. I carve to create the forms and, using glues, often combine several pieces of wood to develop three-dimensional fantasy creatures.
