Hawaii: Close Up

I joined a photography workshop on the Big Island in Hawaii in February of 2016. It was lots of fun and we had plenty of time to wander around the shoreline, volcanos and gardens. I took many photos, most of them with my macro lens, exploring the close up world of Hawaii. When I returned, while editing the photos, I found myself using Photoshop to modify and combine images, pushing the imagery closer to abstraction.
